Updates on my weekends. Friday was nothing special. Work-home-bed. Saturday I stayed at home to get prepared with Baby Keida's arrival. Hubby was down with a slight fever and gum pain thus resting in the room. Started washing Keida's clothes, blankets, booties and mittens with the Kodomo Baby Laundry detergent. Really love the smell so much! Hanged out the clothes after washed. Hubby woke up, saw me doing the laundry and stopped me. He said my tummy is too big for chores. Haha. I did it anyway as I am one who loves doing things my way lest I get annoyed for minor things. Hees. Hubby tried to help despite his fever. I shoo-ed him back to the room, he needs rest. Darling Ailing came over for MJ. Peppy loves her. We had fun altogether!

Monday - KKH check up. Hubby wanted to go with me, but his doctor appointment lasted til 12.30pm from 9am. WTF right?! Anw, it was the best check up I ever had throughout these months. It was my turn once I reached. The gynae was waiting for me before his lunchtime. The gynae listened to baby's heartbeat properly and answered my questions very clearly. He cleared my doubts and paid attention to my discomforts. Tummy checked and baby is doing good. Her heartbeats are loud and active. AMC scan scheduled next check up to check for baby's weight. Gynae asked me to get my hospital bag ready and gave me MCs til labour. In less than one hour, I'm done. Happy! Yings met up with me at KKH after my checkup. We went for b-lunch at QQ Mee. After lunch, shopped at BHG as I want to look at the playpens there. Saw very cute rompers but decided to get them this weekend. Yings and I going to have mass shopping on Saturday for baby Keida. Mrt-ed back home after which. Packed fish porridge for Hubby. GP suspected his wisdom tooth growth. Ouch.. I know he's in great pain. Yings and I bought Doughnuts back to my house. One pok of MJ with Hubby, Ivan and Yings. We three lost badly to Hubby. After MJ, Hubby and I cabbed to MIL's place. She cooked dinner and shark fin soup. I didn't eat any though. Cabbed home around 11pm. Boy, I was extremely tired!

Hubby's pains got more intense. He decided to see another doctor for different views. The GP suspected wisdom tooth growth too. He gave Hubby painkillers which helped him coped with the pain. I was stuck to the bed the whole morning. Felt so heavy to move around..very moody too. Hubby bought some sushi for me when he came back from the doctor's. It made me feel less moody. Thank you!! Hubby cooked scallop porridge for lunch. Yummy! After lunch, he napped with me in air-con room. I was perspiring after a bath! Peppy couldn't take the cold temperature and kept whining. Haha. Hubby prepared dinner for us when he woke up. It was beautiful and taste extremely delicious. He did the gravy himself and even made it so beautiful. I cannot help but I want to shout it out loud that my Hubby is so CAPABLE! I love his cooking skills and I love him even more. The dinner liven my mood. I feel less grouchy! After dinner, Yings came over for two poks MJ. Went to bed after MJ. Tired! zzZZzzZ..! And yes, that's my weekend. =)
Went to Kiddy Palace after work yesterday. Hubby and I saw a playpen that we quite agreed on. No more princess veils or pinkish playpen as I might be able to reuse it for our #2. Sekali #2 is boy leh? Haha. So we chose a medium range one. We put the playpen on our list. Will look at more tml. We intend to compare and decide end of this week. A handful of things to be bought this weekend also. We gotta get fully prepared for Keida's arrival. Although they are all off-shelves stuffs, I think this weekend would be good to get them. After deciding on the playpen, I want to buy the musical toy and mattress to go with it. Keida will have a beautiful bed! Hees. Milk powder we shall buy it after Keida arrives as we would like to seek the PD's advises. Had Billy Bombers for dinner with my family as mentioned. Wow.. the servings were SUPER big, we had a hard time finishing everything. Hubby said we should have shared among us. Hees. After dinner, we went to get Pepper's vitamins then headed home.

It's Friday today. Happy! Happy! Tonight's programme would probably be MJ-ing with Sam and Pengxuan. Not confirmed though. I feel so tired, maybe it will be just sleeping at home. Hees. I read A Husband's Voice just now. It's so warming to read how 'fathers' feel about pregnancy. What I mean is our husband's don't really show their excitements and worries to us, right? But the man writing the blog, let us have a clearer picture of how the men are feeling. Haha. I enjoyed reading the blog. Tonight must ask Hubby how is he feeling towards Keida's arrival in 3weeks' time. Hees! Check up on Monday. Precious Yings going with me as Hubby couldn't get away from work. She is forking out her off day to accompany me. I'm so blessed, man! Thanks ger..Loves! =)
Talking about the bouquets.. the prices shooting up on V-dae from mere a $30 to $100 per bouquet. OMG~! I'm definitely not one who expects Hubby to buy them on such 'seasons'. Why let the dealers gain? (I'm a stingy ass ok. hees.) I told Hubby to fold me a dozen of them using CASH notes. Lols. And I prefer blue roses..get me? *winks* My idiotic DH got my idea, but.. he was thinking about the $1 note instead. LOLs. There are other blue notes, my dear!! Kekes.. I am not so greedy laa hohs? Anyway, this year's V-dae has nothing so special, except we spent it with my parents. Hees. So after work, we headed to Hilltop Restaurant for dinner. We had a mixture of Indonesian and Japanese food. The table was filled with lots of food that we had to finish a dish before the next could be served. I quite enjoyed the Indonesian delicacies but I must say that the Sashimi Sushi is really delicious. Fresh and thick. Yummy!! Too bad, I'm only allowed to eat two of them. When the bill came, we then realised how come it tasted so superior..Lols. After dinner, we headed to Sheng Shiong to buy some groceries then headed to the temple to pray. That was our V-dae for 2008. Although not very special, but it feels warm to have people you love spending this day altogether. =)

15 feb 2008 - On urgent leave due to severe surges in da morning. Met up wib Julia at WM. She brought some baby stuffs for Keida. Thanks, girl. Had Pastamania for lunch den shopped around for some baby stuffs with her help. Went over to Tom & Stephanie to look at da playpens. None caught my likings. After shopping, BIL came to help me carry my shopping bags back to MIL's house. How sweet he was. Met Hubby for dinner after which. Wanted to watch CJ7 but I was too tired. Headed home after dinner. Had two poks of MJ that night.
16 feb 2008 - Woke up early for Mac breakfast. Napped til evening then Hubby and I went for da buffet dinner at the prayers there. There was a 'Jump God' ceremony going on there. We watched the lion and dragon dance also. After eating and watching da ceremony, Hubby and I went for Prawning. Prawned for only 10mins nia, Hubby dowan to prawn liao cos there was too many rods in the pond. Imagine 40 rods competing for prawns? Lols. We had two games of billiard then cabbed home. So long never play billiard with Hubby liao. We had fun in a world of two. We both agreed to spend more time doing things together before our lil princess arrives.

17 feb 2008 - Woke up early as I promised Hubby to go prawning with him. Not a very fufiling catch. He got less than 30 prawns. But we had fun laa.. kekes. Got to exchange a tag for $2 also. It has been quite some time since we went prawning together. It's the process that matters. Hees. Hubby cooked the prawns for us when we reached home. Napped til evening then got prepared for dinner. Cabbed to Suntec to meet up with my parents for dinner. We ahd steamboat at The Joaquaim again. Hubby and Mummy's favourite. See my Hubby thin thin like that, he actually ate the most during dinner. Haha. Mummy said his meal make the most worthy dinner. After dinner, all of us went to MS for short shopping then headed home for MJ. Had one pok of MJ and Hubby and I both won money! Hees. After math continued MJ with Sam and Peng Xuan. Ivan and I took turns to play. Played all the way til 6am then concussed straight on bed.

18 feb 2008 - Had breakfast at Bugis market then shopped around for awhile. Went for my check up at KKH. The gynae for my room went for an operation and nobody informed. I waited for one hour hour before realising there was no gynae in the room. Headed to change my room number. After one more hour, I finally got to see a gyane. So pissed and irritated, everything the gynae said sounded like thrash to me. FCUK. I told him my discomforts and all he said was, "After these few weeks, it will be all okay." Faints! How experienced he is?!! After the check up, headed back to MIL's place for steamboat dinner. Very long never eat BBQ steamboat liao. It was so delicious! Yummy!! Hubby also bought Keida's pampers and diapers.n It was fun seeing Keida's daddy so serious in choosing the brands. Cabbed home after dinner.
19 feb 2008 - On MC due to bad contractions. It was so painful. It felt like a needle poking through my ribs. Hubby headed to work himself. My sweet hubby called back at intervals to check on me. He was less-worried when he heard the noise of the MJ tiles. Lols. Amanda cabbed over for MJ. Had 3 poks of it. All three of us lost to Ivan. Hubby bought me dinner after he knocked off. Had another pok of MJ with Mummy and Hubby that night. Didn't sleep well the whole night as I kept waking up to pee. It felt so urgent but it's only a small quantity. FCUK. The sharp pains came again, I cannot sleep at all. Turning to either sides didn't helped. Until Hubby sayang the piercing part, the pain stopped so naturally and I fell asleep straight away. I think Keida is bullying Mummy loh! Hubby said it was coincidence.
20 feb 2008 - Hubby and I both took urgent leave due to the sleepless night previously. Had breakfast at the market and went to buy some of Keida's stuffs. Napped til late evening. Dinner with my in-laws at Boon Lay market. They had seafood again. Candy and I ordered our own food as we didn't like the food they ordered. Bought new sets of clothes, booties, mittens and caps for Keida. They are too sweet to be left out. Home after dinner then headed to bed straight. I kept sleeping during this period of time. Lethargic-ness!
No mood for long entry. I had contractions and pain since this morning. So uncomfortable and painful. I tried to change positions and keep moving about, but I don't think it really helped much. It stopped awhile (about half an hour) at lunch time, then it started all over again. I feel so pek chek leh! I cannot work properly and I feel annoyed at the slightest thing. My tummy turns hard rock and it felt super uncomfortable. I can feel a hard poke on my ribs. Like suffering from bruises. I cannot differentiate pain and strains. Hais, I'm getting restless and irritable. Anw, a qns for all. I am supposed to start drinking coconut juice liao rite? But which kind? The big green ones or the small brown ones found at pasar malam? TIA~! I have been reading forums to know more about labor signs since lunchtime. Blog more tml. I'm so tired and moody, people!

Yesterday after work went to watch Ah Long Pte Ltd. It was a nice and super hilarious one!! Hubby and I enjoyed the whole show. The "liondance" part sent me laughing hysterically. The uncle sitting beside me laughed so hard that I can feel the seats shaking. No joke okay! Lols. Some people said it has no storyline and it was the "same-old" scene. But I find it funny enough to keep me entertained. I think Keida also enjoyed it as she kept kicking me so hard that I felt the aches! Lols. It has been ages since Hubby and I went for movie, I think it felt really good. Was supposed to have MJ session last night de. But due to some procastinating, it was called-off. I don't like to drag here and there, so better postpone it. Haha. Went home to sleep instead.

Well.. CNY this year wasn't as fun as the previous years. Perhaps because I'm tired easily or maybe less angpaos received! Lols. No laa.. I just feel that this CNY not as fun leh. Only CHU1 nice nia.. other than that like nothing special. Hees. Not much photos taken also. Main reason is because I'm getting super FAT and swollen! CHU XI stayed at MIL's place. Hubby they all go pray at 12mn while MIL and I stayed at home. MIL gave up her bed for me as she said I shouldn't be sleeping on the floor. But I insisted sleeping on the mattress with DH. Bo bian, I have homesickness. The only way to prevent me from running home is sticking to DH like a bug. Lols. Woke up early on CHU1 then bathed and got prepared. I wore the white dress Precious Yings bought. After preparation, I wished PILs Happy CNY and gave Loon, Jun and PIL their angpaos.
After which, Mummy came to drive Hubby and I for house visiting over at my granny's. Left Granny's place around 3+ then went to Dad's home. There wre so many people there. They haven't seen me since my wedding. From the looks on their faces, I guessed they must have agreed I'm so fat now. Haha. Stayed at Dad's for an hour or so then cabbed to Hubby's ah ma home. It was so crowded there too! Spent the first few minutes giving out angpaos. Imagine the number of kids and unmarried cousins there. Haha. Too bad, we got married young! Haha.. kidding!! Hubby started playing cards with his cousins. He was on a winning streak. Haha. Everyone say Keida was shining luck on him. Kekes. I played MJ with Hubby's cousins and Ah Ma. Lost abit of money. Haha. Stayed at Ah ma home til wee hours then Hubby's cousin sent us home.
CHU2 was nothing special. I wore the blue dress Hubby has chosen. Many sang praises. Haha. So happy. Mummy even borrowed my dress to work today. Woke up went Ah Ma home for MJ again and won back some money I lost the previous night. Headed home around evening as I had guests over. Played MJ with Hubby, Precious and Uncle You. Hubby was the sole winner. Still HUA SHANG siah~! Lols. AFter MJ, Hubby and I played Blackjack banker. Won money again. Hees. At night went back to Ah Ma home to gamble. Hubby lost a few hundreds. I never play MJ, just watched Tv there the whole night. BORED~! Only went home at 3am that night. CHU3 had MJ with Granny, Mummy and Ivan. I was the sole winner. Haha. Shared with Hubby. At the end of the game, I was the sole winner. Cleared Ivan's debts. Lols. Mummy and the rest went Marine Parade for seafood after sending Hubby and I to Ah Ma home. Played MJ with Ah Ma and cousins again. Raymond ZHA HU-ed which sent all of us laughing like crazy. Haha. Won some money again. Hees. After MJ, cabbed to 252 for dinner then to Jackson's home to play cards. They played til 5+am, I was so freaking tired! Hubby won some money though. Hees. Shared a cab home with KB and Serene after math.

On Saturday, Hubby and I woke up extremely early. He brought me to have breakfast at the market. Finally I got to eat the "chicken porridge with yusheng". Wow.. the queue is really LONG siah. After breakfast, we headed to Orchard for our shopping spree. We went to Paragon, Wisma, Heeren and Cineleisure. I bought a handbag while Hubby bought a top. We are really picky siah. Four shopping centres shopped, yet we only bought one item each. Kekes. However, I really love Hubby's new tee. So special and good-looking! Cabbed to PS next to see if there's anymore loots. Sad to say, nothing caught our eyes. Bumped into my cousin and had a small chat. She looked great. Had tea over at the Kaya Toast Cafe before heading to Ah Ma's hm. Supposed to go to Chinatown altogether de. But it rained the whole evening. Thus, trip cancelled. All of us went to get dinner then shopped around for CNY goods. Hubby bought few cartons of drinks home and I bought a new bedroom set cover for us. Jay Chou's concert de dvd out liao. Hubby bought it for me! Happy..! Ah Jun came over to stay for the night. The two brothers eat like nobody's business. haha.

Hubby and I headed for our hair appointment at Storm after work yesterday. The hairstylist was so busy that we still have to wait. My husband is a very typical person. He only wants the specific hairstylist. Haha. During my haircut, Hubby was telling the hairstylist what to cut for me. Cut here and there, machiam I'm barbie doll. Hubby was satisfied with his haircut, I'm okay with mine too. Hubby treated me to dinner at LaiLai after math. We love the noodles there so much. I always ask for extra noodles as they are simply too delicious. Blew my top at a 'bangalah' while queueing for the ATM. He was obviously looking at my breasts like never see before. I shouted at him to go home look at his mama's. NB. Hubby was stunned cos I was loud and firm. Perhaps I was too tired already. Kekes. Was supposed to meet up with Yings de, but she nv call. So I played MJ with Ivan and friends. Won some money. Luck wasn't bad. Haha. Headed straight to bed after MJ. Simply too tired!
It's a new month again. Imagine how time flies. Haha. Long weekend for Hubby and I as we will be on leave on Monday. Check up at KKH, I can't wait to hear baby's progress! Saw the new S$20 note from Karine's blog. Wow.. I love it! Yesterday went to change new notes but the teller didn't mentioned about the new note. I want to go change again. Tml Hubby and I going for shopping. So happy! I wanna buy new shoes and CNY things. Haha. Hubby say I forever won't buy enough de. Hopefully tml will be back with many loots. I seriously need to get my nails done leh. But Yings called to check and all of them are fully booked. Mamamia~!!
Anyway, one more happy thing happened today...
