Went for an interview this morning. Nearer and much higher paying job. I like the environment there. I am very interested in the industry they are doing. The diversifying of service provided definitely gives anyone a sense of security. The company is a US MNC dealing with more than 10billions of NA. Wooh!! The interview was the most enjoyable one in my life. It lasted for almost 1hour. If they weren't keen on employing me, they won't spend so much time telling me about the company and position right? I felt great and believe I have done a good job. Let's just hope for good news in two weeks' time. I cannot wait for a better job!! =)

Cabbed over to Jurong Polyclinic after math. Hubby and MIL brought Keida to meet me there. It was her 5-in-1 vaccine. Did her assessment at the nursing room first. She had put on abt almost 300grams and grown 1cm taller. Omg! It was only last Friday when we did the assessments at KKH. As she is having abit of congested nose and slight cough, I seek doctor's advice before proceeding with the jab. Doctor gave green light so we went ahead with the jab. Keida was soundly asleep when it was our turn. I woke her up a little then held on to her. I was told to grab her thigh like the first jab, then the nurse poked into her flesh. Ouch~!! Keida wailed loudly for a few seconds then fell back to sleep. My brave girl! Haha. After making payment, the three of us went over to the nearby market for brunch. Hubby said the boneless chicken rice there is superb and I should try it. So ended up, all of us had chicken rice. LOLs! But yes, I agree that it is delicious! Cabbed home right after our meal as Keida's feed was about time.

I'm pretty tired now. Going to catch a short nap before night falls.
Hope we will have dinner at KUSHIN BO later on! =)

Hubby and I went on a date yesterday. Silly! Caught Iron Man at Vivo City. It was superb! Initially I wasn't happy as I wanted to watch Made of Honour instead of Iron Man. I thought Iron Man was those boring cartoons. Who knows I enjoyed it more than Hubby did. I give it 4stars!! It was many months since we watched a movie. (During pregnancy, I don't like watching movies as I felt tired all the time. I even dozed off watching 881!) After our movie, we went for a haircut together at Jean Yip. Because my hair is so much longer than Hubby's, he waited for me for one whole hour after he was done. Hubby looked so much neater and smarter after his haircut. He thinks mine made not much difference. Shopped around for awhile. GSS at Vivo is practically like No Sale lohs. Everything is still so expensive. BOO =x!!

Only one working day for me this week.
Monday was PH - OFF day.
Tuesday was on leave for interviews.
Wednesday was on MC due to migraine.
Thursday, came to work (today).
Friday (tmrw), will be on leave for Keida's KKH appt.

It would be so nice if every week would be like this.
I want to be a SAHM yet earn loads of cashy.
Contradicting, isn't it?!

I will be bringing Keida to KKH for her therapy session tmrw.
I hope her feet is getting better and straight.
It's due to her sleeping position in my tummy for the nine whole months.
I hope the doctor will say her feet has become straight enough.
I want her to have beautiful long legs, like mine! Kekes. =x

As promised, I'm back for updates. I forgot exactly what happened on Friday, so I shall skip that. It was practically whole day MJ-ing on Saturday. Went over to Hubby's ah ma home for 2 poks of MJ. No win no lose. Precious jio-ed MJ over at my place in the evening. So after Ah Ma hse, Hubby and I cabbed home for MJ. Played 3 poks with Granny, Uncle You and Hubby. Granny and Hubby was super lucky, they 'zhi mo 5 tais' duno how many times. By the end of the first pok, Uncle You and I are already almost 'dried'. At the end of 3 poks, I lost almost $200. Hubby was the biggest winner. Angry lor, we were only only 3-6, yet I lost so much. Boo!! =(

Granny and I brought Baby Keida to Jp for short shopping on Sunday morning. I bought two new heels at Charles & Keith, baby clothes hangers and a NUK milk bottle for Keida. MIL said Keida will very soon learn how to hold her bottles herself, but Avent bottles are too fat. Had MJ with Granny, Mummy and Precious in the early afternoon. Played only 1 pok and nv win nor lose. Headed over to MIL's for the housewarming party in the evening. All the food were prepared by MIL. They looked exactly like ordered buffet. It was so crowded there with relatives and friends. There were 3 MJ tables going on at the same time. Precious started playing Blackjack with Jun's friends. Played MJ non-stop til 3am. Initially won abit but in the end lost the winnings plus my own cash. Sobs!

Slept all the way til 12pm+ on Monday. It was Vesak day, we don't have to work. Didn't go anywhere else. Mummy came over to pick Keida up as I was super tired. Watched TV with Hubby then we went back to my house to fetch Keida in the evening. Napped with Keida when we reached home. I was so tired that I didn't eat my dinner Hubby bought. Woke up to feed Keida around 9pm then went downstairs for supper with MIL and Hubby. After which, I went back to sleep. It was basically a sleep-in day. Kekes.

Went for two interviews on Tuesday. The 1st one was at Toh Guan. I was recruited but the salary was nowhere different from my current one, so I gave it a miss. Cabbed to Pantech 21 for my 2nd interview. I waited for one whole hour lor. Angry and pissed. The environment was quite nice, but it's a 6days job. After interview, I met Yings for lunch as she was only working at Pantech Ind, which was just next to 21. The canteen was so small, yet she can't find me. Faints! My feet were blistered and I walked so awkwardly. She was on half day so I waited for her to knock off. Her office is a nice environment with retro music and ornaments. I think her manager is a retro-like guy. Especially his hair. LOLs. Cabbed to fetch Xiaoquan to our house after math. MJ with Hubby, Yings and Xiaoquan. After the 1st pok, Hubby let Szetong play. Szetong and Xiaoquan were super HIGH loh. They cracked jokes and laughed hysterically like nobody's business. We ended at the 2nd pok. I was having a splitting headache. I think the two of them contributed greatly to my migraine! Yings left after MJ. I was super tired, I fell asleep on the couch after bathing.

Yesterday, I was on MC as mentioned in the earlier post. Hubby and I accompanied MIL to Sheng Shiong. MIL dresses Baby Keida in a flowery top. She looked so beautiful and feminine. She is getting fairer each day. I'm so happy to see that. Hubby's cousin mentioned that her friend's baby also went for the Photo therapy treatment for 24hrs and was very tanned too. She cried so much when seeing her baby naked under the light. Her baby became fairer after 3-4 months. I was more relieved on hearing that because Keida was fair at birth. Supper with Hubby's aunt and cousin at night. Cousin's DH asked Hubby why did he bring a 'gor-li(marble)' out. LOLs. Chit chatted til 11pm+ then we headed home.

Hello! I'm back to blogging. I know there are spider webs around already. My apology! It was a long weekend. Many programmes like in laws' housewarming, MJ sessions, shopping and interviews. I simply do not have enough sleep! Kekes. Will update my long weekend after lunch later. Was on MC yesterday. I had migraine which was so bad that I decided to see a doctor. (I had already reached my office at Tuas.) After taking the medicines, my right eye got swollen and rashes started growing on my face. Awww..how awful. It was so itchy and sting-y. I could feel my skin burning. After a cold bath and some rest, I felt better. The rashes were gone, and my eye wasn't as swollen. Brought Keida to Sheng Shiong for some groceries shopping in the evening. I bought Blueberry Muffin's mix. Baked the muffins tgt with MIL at night. My first attempt and it tasted delicious! It must be MIL's skills, I only had 5% credit at most. LOLs.

Many must have panda eyes today, right? I believe there are loads who woke up at 2.30am last night for the BIG MATCH. It was the UEFA's cup match btwn Man Utd and Chelsea. I am a Man Utd's fan! I love the team so much siah! I swear I wanted to watch it, but I couldn't wake up when my alarm went off. Hais. It was a draw game at the end of 90mins. Man Utd's Ronaldo scored first. He's super handsome okay! He's so young yet I believe, earned more than enough. OMG, why didn't he marry me? LOLs. Man Utd won the cup eventually!! And I'm happy! Lalalala~!! I just received a call from one of the recruit agencies. It was Yvonne. She said there was a job she found very suitable for me. And she told me the details which I became very interested in it. Pray hard that her client wants me. =) It's lunch time soon. I better stop here. Keida's pictures coming up next (after lunch). They are super duper cute! Stay tuned. =p

Sent out many resumes today. Hopefully, I get a better job. I really don't like it here lor. Although this is the longest job I have worked for, but I am not happy here laa. =x I will be going for an interview on Tuesday. Just beside Ying's company. Meeting her for lunch after which! =) Gotta submit my leave form later. Hopefully the remuneration package is an attractive one. This morning, Jennifer passed me a Motherhood magazine and some Frisco vouchers. She said she got them intentionally for me. How nice! =) Keida don't drink Frisco, I am thinking of giving them to others who drinks Frisco (Step2-4). Jocelyn, I have vouchers for Friscomum too. PM me if you want them. =) Today is finally Friday. Less than two hours to knock off. I miss Keida badly. I'm going to bring her home tonight.

Get on with updating on yesterday. Sunny came to pick me up at JP after work. I went over to visit Christina and Baby Lervince. Wow, Lervince is so adorable!! I love his fair skin, looks like snow loh. He definitely resembles Christina, I think. Will upload his pictures when free. His parents were kind to let me carry him. I started to miss Keida when she was a few days old. Haha. Cabbed back home after math. When I saw Keida, I felt that she has grown up already. Hees. Went Sheng Shiong at 8pm. MIL wanted to buy the food for Sunday's housewarming. After everyone is done with thier groceries, we had late dinner together. OMG! I'm really putting on weight staying at MIL's. Suppers almost every night and I am one whom can't resist food. I need to have a strict diet! Haha. My backaches happened again. I cannot even feed Keida. MIL rubbed my back for me. After watching the 10pm HK drama, Hubby and I went to bed.

It's a busy day today. Now, I even have to rush a report out by 6pm. Not sure what my superior is unhappy about. Cos he suddenly insisted we come back on Saturday. He's unhappy with the engineers, but why take it out on us?! Hais. He should know I only can spend time with Keida on weekends. Maybe he was just grumbling. Work aside, let me blog first. As advised, I have resubmitted my entry for the SuperMummy contest. Look out for "Loved By Mummy", "zhuzhu41", "Mummy & Raeann", "Lynn" and "Hebb87". Do support me and my friends ya. Vote! Vote! Vote! =) It's Thursday today already. After tml, it will be a long weekend. MIL has decided to hold a small housewarming party this Sunday.

Met up with Yings yesterday after work ytd. I reached earlier and she was still at her office. So to kill time, I decided to do Express Manicure at Nail Palace (MRT) since it's only $8. My nails weren't dried yet when Yings reached Jp. So a manicurist helped me to take my money out to pay. She took a $50 bill and came back with $35. I was shocked and I asked her how much it was. She told me it's $15 and I was super unhappy! Before I started doing anything, I was told that Express Manicure cost $8. But when I was done, they claimed it was $15! So I confronted them but they said $8 was only polishing not filing of nails. WTF! Yings was waiting for me, I didn't want her to wait for too long. So I left to meet her first. I was really upset about the incident. Took the number from Yings and called their outlet's manager. The bloody manager still had the cheek to insist that $8 was only polishing. I told her off and said even if that is so, I should be informed of the extra charges before they start. I mean which bloody express mani DON'T file your nails?!! I have done umpteen times of both express and classic sessions. I know clear enough what the differences are. Yings did express with them before, filed and polished her nails and was also charged at $8. So, why tell me filing is of a different charge? After flaring up at the manager, she then refunded me. What kind of service is this?! Shit. I won't go back again!!

Dinner at BentoBox after math. We have so much to catch up. As usual, we laughed non-stopped on silly things. There are no secrets between us. We laughed, talked and ranted with no boundaries. I think we need a lot more time to catch up. It feels really nice to meet up with her and update on our lives. I'm glad our f/s is still strong as ever. Bumped into Jocelyn when we shopped around. Wow, that Mummy-to-be is still as radiant. Unlike me, I looked really haggard and ugly when I was pregnant. I am so envious lor! =] Also saw Mummy and In Yings got herself a top while I bought a skirt for work. I'm lack of bottoms laa. Faints. After buying our stuffs, we left for home respectively. I was dead beat when I reached home. Backaches got worse. My neck, back and hands are aching all the time, especially at night. Keida was lying on her 'yaoyao' and reaching out to me. Seeing her really makes me feel better. She is my motivation for everything. I'm glad I have her to cuddle and hug when I'm unhappy or tired.

I just heard from my colleagues that the clock-in device at the site is faster than our office's. So angry loh! Cos I saw from my hp that it was 8.08am (8.10am onwards is late), but when I zapped in this morning, it was 8.11am. That also means deductions would be made. Sianz loh. Just because of the time difference. Not fair! BOO =x!!

It has been raining since this morning. And the air-cons are still blasting directly over me. I'm freezing at my desk here. This kind of weather is very cunning. It makes people super sleepy!! This few days I have been sending my resumes out. I really want to get a new job soon. I don't wish to stay here. Yes, I don't deny my position is off a higher level. But so what?? I don't mind if you pay me well and call me an Admin Asst. With my new responsibility at home, I certainly need a better job. So, pls pray for me. Thanks.

Hubby and I brought Keida out for Mothers' Day dinner on Monday. My relatives were elated to see my lil princess. Everyone was waiting to carry and play with her. Mummy was practically holding onto Keida most of the time. Lols. All of them love Keida laa. The seafood there was delicious. From the look on Hubby's face, I believe he enjoyed his dinner alot. The crabs and prawns there were super big. Yummy! It has been quite some time since my family gathered together. Everyone was present. I think it's more warming than CNY. Total bill came up to $600. Hubby thought it was steep.

Yesterday Hubby was on MC so I went to work alone. He was down with a bad flu and cough. I could hear him coughing through the night. Poor thing! I had no mood to work, so I smsed Carine. Wanted to jio her take half day's leave also, but she told me she nv go work. Haha. So we met up at lunch time and went over to Town. Had LJS for lunch at Cineleisure first. After which, we went to DFS for 'window shopping'. I wanted to buy the Anna Sui comb brush but Carine thinks it isn't worth it. Since both Hubby and Carine said the same thing, I wiped off the idea of getting one.

Prices at LV boutique has increased due to the inflation. I saw the vernis handbag I fancy on and checked out the price. It's so expensive loh! We went to Gucci next. I 'spotted' a Gucci tote bag which I like alot. It's cheaper than LV bags and big enough for me to put Keida's milk bottles etc. I think it's worthwhile. At the boutique, I have decided on Hubby's birthday present. I am sure he will like it alot. I had the urge to straightaway 刷卡 loh! Luckily, I controlled myself and left the boutique quickly. Carine wanted to look at Coach's wrislet so we went over to Coach. There, she eyed on a wallet which goes with her sling bag nicely.

Walked over to FEP next. I wanted to get new heels for work but I didn't see any I fancy. Maybe I didn't have the mood to shop anymore. My backaches were killing me. I feel so tired walking for so many hours. Carine really love shoes loh. She kept looking at heels and finally bought a pair of black heels from Mondo. Hubby was expecting me for dinner, so we hurried trained home. We two silly women hoh, talked n talked n talked NONstop that we took the wrong train initially. Luckily, I realised and we changed train before stranding further. Haha. Carine dropped off at JE while I trained back to Boon Lay. It was a long journey but our chats made it feel so short. FYI, we chatted until Carine reached her doorsteps okay. Super talkative women we are!

Dinner with Hubby at home. MIL cooked my favourite Sze Chuan soup. After dinner, Ah Loon drove us to IMM's Giant. We went there to get new bedsheets, but in the end only MIL bought hers. Hubby said we will go back next week to get ours. Keida was hungry halfway through our shopping. So I fed her while walking about. My left arm was super tired and aching. She isn't very light okay! As usual, Hubby and BIL bought crabs. They took so long to choose three crabs. Finally, everyone was done with their groceries and we headed home. Hubby cooked chilli crabs with their purchase. I didn't eat any though. Keida and I had a video-conversation with Mummy and Ivan. I could see Mummy was enjoying herself talking to Keida. Ivan and I were just extras. Lols! Went to bed after Keida fell asleep.

Hubby and I were awoken by Keida's loud and hysteric cries in the middle of the night. I went over to MIL's room to look at her. She cried so teary and her face was so red. According to MIL, she had a nightmare. But her cries were so loud and she was practically screaming her lungs off. My heart wrenched hearing her cry. I tried to coax her but to no avail. She cried non-stop for almost an hour. I started to suspect things weren't right. But I didn't mention anything cos I worried I was only thinking too much. However, when MIL was coaxing Keida to sleep, I overheard FIL saying something about re-arranging Keida's sarong which caused her to cry so badly. MIL immediately shut FIL up by asking him not to utter rubbish. Although I didn't hear FIL very clearly, I am very sure Keida didn't cry so badly merely over a nightmare. Hubby is worried Keida might have knocked on the wall or what. But he said we can't do anything (bcos it's his mum) even if that happened. WTF!! I am not trying to ask anyone to bear the responsibility. I understand accidents do happen. But we have to know what happened exactly. So if Keida is unwell or what, we are aware of the possibilities. And if objects are the cause to any accident, we got to change or remove them. That's all!! Isn't this the most important thing? I am so pissed!! Hubby and I can only make assumptions through FIL's words. We do not know the exact truth. And I'm seriously upset over it!! If the reason for not wanting me to know, is bcos PILs don't want Keida to sleep in the playpen (my assumptions), then I pray God would wake them up soon! I don't wish for anything else to happen again and then regret. Keida is my life, do you know that?!! I absolutely cannot let any harm come to her!!

Baby Keida's shopping trip on Sunday! (11 May 2008)

Lunched at Han's. Mummy and Uncle had the Hainanese lunch set, Ivan had Grilled Turkey while I had Sausage Spaghetti. I didn't really like the food. I find the prices steep for their small servings. Started out our shopping after lunch. Baby Keida was wide awake when we reached Vivo. I think she loves 'gaigai'. Hees. She was looking everywhere. How cute!

Mummy said Keida looked like a Big Boss. Haha!

And Ivan was her maid, to push her around. Lols!

She's tired but still want to 'gaigai'.

We went over to Mango boutique first. Saw a dress I like pretty much but unfortunately, their S-size is too big for me. Maybe it's tailored for the English women, thus the smallest size is still too big for me. Sianz ½ loh. In the end, I bought some MNG tees for Mummy and myself. Went over to Zara next. Ivan wanted to buy a shirt but changed his mind. Zara Baby has a lot of cute clothings! Several dresses caught my eyes. They are all so pretty. I decided to buy them when Keida learns to walk. In the end, we bought some socks and accessories for Baby Keida. Mummy wanted to look at more baby clothes, so we went over to Fox. They also have very cute clothings for babies. I told Mummy that Keida has too many clothes already. I asked her not to buy anymore for her. But I was the one, ended up, buying more socks for her.

After changing Keida's diapers, we headed over to Haagen-Dazs for ice-creams. Too bad, Keida was too young for ice cream. If not, I bet she will love them! Haha. =) There are many shops selling babies' clothings on the 2nd level. Mummy and I couldn't control ourselves. If Ivan didn't hurry us, I think we would have more damages in our wallets. Lols. Mummy was worse than me. She apparently bought at least a set of clothes from each shop we went into. Faints! But I understand her feelings. Because I also find all the clothings too cute to resists!! Kekes.

After buying so many things for Baby Keida, I finally remembered Hubby! Lols. Went over to FreshBox to get him a top. When I showed him back at home, he said he likes the design very much. Haha. We both have the same taste laa! After buying Hubby's shirt, we headed for home. Hubby missed Baby Keida so much. He carried her once we reached home. Seeing the number of bags we brought home, Hubby said he was glad he stayed at home. Haha!! My naughty husband!! Funny arse. After feeding Keida, Mummy sent us to Hubby's Ah Ma home for dinner. Went home after BIL's MJ session. Hubby and BIL watched Man Utd's match while I went to bed after chatting with Christina on the phone.
