Cabbed down to Turf City with dearie, Ivan and Grace. Heavy traffic jam yet the stupid cabby wanted to take Eng Neo Rd. He thought we stupid! Luckily I was alert enough to notice the panel saying ENG NEO HAS HEAVY TRAFFIC. So I told cabby to take Bt Timah Rd instead. Finally arrived at Turf City. We saw some people playing with their toy car at the sand. It was fascinating! Their cars flew high!! Woot~! The steamboat we initially wanted to eat has closed down! Boy, it was really long since we last came! =x

Finally, Mummy and Uncle arrived. They decided to have dinner at Ah Yat's Abalone Seafood Restaurant. The restaurant is so classy. Everywhere is so clean and sparkling!! =) Mummy and Uncle ordered many good food! Yummy! There were Shark Fins, Sri Lanka Crabs, Tonic Drunkard Prawns, Bamboo Clams, Peking Duck, Abalone with Lettuce, Speciality Fried Rice, Tiger Garoupa and Bai Guo Red Bean Soup!! It was a 10-Course meal. Since it was Mummy's birthday, she treated us to a whole piece Abalone!! I have never tried eating the whole thing. One on one plate!! How fortunate we are!! =) After dinner, the whole family went for some drinks at a pub in Bt Timah. Mummy's friends were there too.

There's this man who is well-known there for POOL. But I don't like his 'hao-lian' face lohs. Dearie went to challenge him. And won 2 out of three games!! The man kept coming to challenge dearie and wasn't pleased when the crowd cheered for dearie. He grumbled under his breath NON-STOP. So, dearie purposely poked the cue ball so low that it flew off the table. The chance was given to that man whom then won the 3rd match. Dearie said it wasn't nice to leave that man with no face since he frequent there, not us. Dots. But nvm laa.. dearie enjoyed his game. =D Ivan finally went down to play too. And he also won that man lohs!! Mummy they all so proud of him!! However, the 2nd match the man deliberately used 3-angle on the 8-ball which is right at the edge of the pocket. Ivan was displeased at his doing. He refused to play with that man for the next match. That stupid man.. so 'action' loh!!

Mummy and Uncle sang some duets together. All of us played some games together and chatted. Looks like Mummy is really having fun. But The Leopard Never Changes Its Spots. She kept showing off Ivan and Dearie to her friends. Haha. As if dearie is her son. Lols. After singing some songs and finishing the drinks, we left. Sent Grace back home then we headed home. We enjoyed the night pretty much!! We had fun doing things together. PLus that sumptuous dinner. Hmm.. Yummy!! At least it's a FAMILY thing.

I love my family..including dearie too!! Muacks! =)
